One might argue that Hawaii is becoming a zipline adventurer’s mecca with breathtaking courses on four of the major Hawaiian Islands – Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii Island. Whether you’re seeking the thrills or the sights (or maybe you just need a break from the beach) it is worthwhile to incorporate this riveting activity into your vacation.
Jump into the action and experience the following latest tours and offerings from zipline locations throughout the Islands:
Koloa Zipline recently introduced its most challenging zipline adventure tour, the Sunset Zip. Highlights of the tour include flying through the jungle, soaring above the forest, and gliding across the water on over a mile and a half of exciting ziplines and beautiful scenery of South Kauai at sunset and into the twilight.
Equal parts entertaining and educational, CLIMB Works Keana Farms has opened Oahu’s first ever zipline adventure park on the North Shore. The three-hour guided zipline tour includes seven world-class dual zip lines, sky bridges, and boardwalks; bird’s eye view of a working commercial farm; and sweeping panoramic views of the Koolau Mountains.
MAUI and HAWAII ISLAND
Family owned and operated Skyline Eco-Adventures recently introduced its newest Zip N’ Dip Tour operation at its Kaanapali location. Adventure seekers can experience four or nine new ziplines including the Zip N’ Dip experience, double racing line, and two to seven adventure ziplines that let you zip into the cool fresh water of a natural mountain pool. Guests can also use stand-up paddleboards, boogie boards, and a floating raft while enjoying the sweeping view of the West Maui Mountains.
On Hawaii Island, the popular Akaka Falls zipline tour soars nearly 250 feet over one of the island’s most treasured waterfalls. Witness first hand the one-of-a-kind views that make Hawaii one of the worlds most desired destinations.
